«MTV Россия» заполучил в свои ряды два молодежных сериала – «Secret Life of the American Teenager» и «Make It or Break It». Оба шоу сейчас идут на американском канале ABC Family и собирают очень неплохие для него рейтинги.
«American Teenager» рассказывает о девушке-подростке Эми, которая неожиданно для себя забеременела. Главными героями «Make It or Break It» являются олимпийские надежды США в спортивной гимнастике, борющиеся за место в команде.
Сделка Walt Disney с MTV включает в себя другой сериал от ABC Family – Greek, а также Scrubs, комедию производства ABC Studios.
Основную роль в решении о продлении или закрытии сериала играют рейтинги, или, если быть более точным, рейтинг в возрастной категории 18-49. Тут все просто – элементарная математика. Заходим на страничку рейтингов, щелкаем на вкладку канала – сериалы в конце списка являются первыми кандидатами на вылет. Некоторые из них отмечены красным, то есть уже закрыты. О судьбе других пока не принято решение. Однако кроме рейтингов есть масса других факторов и индикаторов, влияющих на продление. Среди них – другие источники дохода от сериала (DVD, синдикация, продажи зарубеж), сроки и условия актерских контрактов (основная причина закрытия успешных сериалов), себестоимость сериала (которая растет с каждым годом, так как актеры добиваются значительного повышения гонораров) и творческие причины.
Джеймс Хибберд из The Hollywood Reporter проанализировал возможные факторы для сериалов с низкими рейтингами и составил свой прогноз шансов на продление. Его прогнозы для Heroes, FlashForward, V, 24, Human Target, Fringe, Chuck и многих других под катом.
- Премьера Past Life перенесена на два дня раньше. Новинка FOX стартует 9 февраля (вторник) после American Idol. Однако свой постоянный таймслот в четверг (9:00) сохранит. 11 февраля вместо ранее планировавшихся двух серий будет показана одна. Кстати, 25 февраля, а также 4 и 11 марта новинка также будет идти после American Idol.
27 января (среда) состоится очередное обращение Обамы, поэтому изменения были неизбежны:
- Третья серия Human Target выйдет на FOX на день раньше – 26 января. И что самое главное сериал будет идти не до American Idol (как было бы в среду), а после. После разочаровавших рейтингов на этой неделе очень даже кстати.
- Modern Family, Cougar Town, The Middle на следующей неделе будут идти в повторах. Запланированные на этот день серии покажут 3 февраля.
- 26 января ABC покажет 11-ые серии сериалов Scrubs и Better Off Ted (из 13-ти заказанных). А вот когда покажут две оставшиеся уже неизвестно. Изначально Scrubs стоял в расписании на 27 января и 3 февраля (среда, 8:00), однако потом был заменен повторами Modern Family. Напомню, что постоянный таймслот комедий (вторник, 8:00) в ближайшие месяцы оккупируют повторы Lost.
Ну и последнее: 14-й сезон South Park стартует 17 марта.

ABC официально заказал пилот нового проекта с Мэттью Перри в главной роли. Возможный сериал получил название Mr. Sunshine. Комедия расскажет о менеджере второстепенной спортивной арены. После того, как ему исполнилось сорок лет, персонаж начинает переоценивать всю свою жизнь.
Макферсон сказал, что каналу очень нравится Castle, отметив также, что для процедурала повторы сериала собирают очень неплохие рейтинги. Кроме того, вторая книга о Никки Жаре от Ричарда Касла выйдет в свет в сентябре 2010 года. То есть в то же время мы, наверняка, увидим и сам сериал (зачем нужна книга без него?), а значит здравствуй третий сезон!
Что касается укороченного осеннего эфира V, то Макферсон сказал, что изначально таких планов у него не было. Всему виной «производственные проблемы», в результате чего каналу пришлось сократить показ осенью. V и Flash Forward вернутся в марте, чтобы затем идти без перерывов.
ABC ускорил темпы показа двух своих проблемных комедий – Scrubs и Better off Ted. Оба сериала завершат свои сезоны уже к концу января – меньше, чем через два месяца после старта. К сожалению, такой ход зачастую означает, что шансов на продление любого из двух сериалов практически нет.
Начиная с 5 января, по вторникам, будут выходить по две новые серии каждой комедии – Scrubs в 8:00 и 9:00, Better off Ted в 8:30 и 9:30. 19 или 26 января будет показано всего по одной серии в связи с политическими выступлениями. Напомню, что 1 января нас также ожидают новые серии двух сериалов.
Любители комедий Scrubs и Better off Ted смогут хорошо отметить Новый год вместе с этими двумя сериалами канала ABC.
В первый день 2010 года (пятница) канал поставил в эфир одну новую серию Scrubs и сразу две новых серии Better off Ted. За рейтинги сильно волноваться не стоит. Комедии будут идти после университетского футбольного матча Rose Bowl.
Прежние даты эфира двух сериалов – 29 декабря и 5 января (и далее каждую неделю) – остаются, таким образом за семь дней можно будет посмотреть три новых серии Scrubs и четыре Better off Ted.
FOX тоже поможет приятно провести время на зимних каникулах. Несмотря на ранее выпущенный пресс-релиз, в котором говорилось о том, что анимационные комедии вернутся только в конце января, FOX поставил в эфир на третье число новые серии всех четырех сериалов.

Премьера девятого сезона Scrubs собрала относительно неплохие рейтинги. Первую серию посмотрели 4.6 миллионов зрителей, а рейтинг в возрастной категории от 18 до 49 лет составил 2.0/5. Премьера прошлого сезона собрала 6.7 млн. (-31%) и демо 3.1/7 (-35%).
По сравнению с финалом и средним рейтингом восьмого сезона падение составило всего 5%. Учитывая серьезные изменения в самом сериале, такой результат можно считать приемлемым. Вторая серия сохранила 100% в демо и 96% в зрителях.
А вот The Forgotten, потеряв мощного lead-in’a, упал сразу на 28% в демо и в зрителях, показав худший результат сезона в обоих показателях. Возвращение Хизер Локлир в Melrose Place явно не помогает сериалу CW. Новинка повторила худший результат сезона в демо.
ABC объявил дату премьеры комедийного ветерана Scrubs, которого в этом году ждут серьезные изменения. Девятый сезон начнется 1 декабря и займет постоянный таймслот во вторник, 9:00.

Это на целых 8 лет больше, чем было 10 лет назад, когда средний возраст у каналов был 43 года. А вот средний возраст потенциального зрителя за тот же десятилетний период вырос всего на 2 года, с 36 до 38.
Майкл Мосли (The Proposal) и Керри Бише (Virtuality) заняли оставшиеся две вакантные постоянные роли в девятом сезоне Scrubs. Мосли сыграет Дрю, давнего студента, пытающегося закончить учебу после неудачи в Гарвардском медицинском колледже 10 лет назад. Бише сыграет первокурсницу Люси, дочь рыбака.
Джина Торрес (Firefly) сыграет по крайней мере в двух эпизодах Gossip Girl, где она будет играть Габриэлу Адамс, маму Ванессы.
Дейв Франко стал первым из нескольких новых актеров, которые будут играть в девятом сезоне сериала Scrubs на постоянной основе.
Франко будет играть Коула, 22-летнего студента медицинского университета, постоянно раздражающего окружающих. Его родители очень богаты и без труда используют деньги, чтобы дать своему сыну преимущество перед другими. Доктор Кокс, наверное, будет его большим «фанатом».

Ну я понял) Просто подумал раз раньше что-то у них намечалось, то теперь они наиболее морально близки к проекту. Да и сам по себе Sandman довольно специфичен и подходит совсем немногим каналам. Можно и помечтать хотя бы)) дальше
